Short Biography

Dr. Heinrich Stamerjohanns is Head of Computer Science Labs at the Jacobs University Bremen, specializing in the field of metadata harvesting, interoperability issues of Digital Libararies and Open Access Publishing. He received his diploma in physics in 1997 and his doctoral degree in 2001 from the Carl-von-Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany. He co-founded the Institute for Science Networking at the University of Oldenburg and worked there as Chief Technical Officer from 2001 until 2005.
